One of the most exceptional coastlines in England and is designated an \u2018Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty\u2019. This beautiful corner of the country is known for its open spaces, pine forests, acres of unspoilt countryside, wild salt marshes, mudflats and last but not least its white, sandy beaches. All these beaches have at some time been the setting for many films, countless photoshoots and innumerable happy family days out.<\/h3>\n

Morston is a small friendly village made up of a few quiet lanes, a cluster of flint cottages and a 12th century church. Sitting on the edge of the marshes, the quay is a hive of activity at high tide with sailing, motor and fishing boats streaming in and out, and a regular flow of ferries taking people out to see the seals. At low tide, you can often be completely alone on the quay, enjoying the extraordinary peace of the marshes, and watching the birds and wildlife. The village pub, The Anchor Inn, serves fine ales and good food; Morston Hall is a renowned country house hotel and Michelin starred restaurant. Nearby Blakeney (1 mile) has a mini supermarket, a fish shop, a great delicatessen, good pubs and restaurants and a couple of hotels.<\/p>\n

The idyllic North Norfolk coastline is amongst the most protected in the country. It is an unrivalled area for walking, cycling, boating, bird watching ,playing on beaches, or fishing for crabs! Morston is an ideal base from which to explore this area.<\/p>\n

This barn is perfect for a family get away! Sarah was a fantastic host and was always quick to respond to emails. It was spotlessly clean, huge amount of space and perfect for our family of 11! Will definitely recommend this place for a family get away!<\/p>\n

Beautiful village location, plenty of common space which is ideal if you are taking children. Great kitchen equipment, lovely walled garden, great pub next door!<\/p>\n

We stayed at Anchor Barn for 4 nights, and had a fantastic time. The property is spacious, and had a great variety of games and other items to keep everyone entertained. The kitchen was also well-stocked with all the utensils one could need for family members of all ages.\u00a0We made particular use of the barbecue, and took advantage of the warm weather to eat outside. The property is really well situated – great local pubs and restaurants, and easy access to all the surrounding sights. I would thoroughly recommend, and wouldn\u2019t hesitate to stay here again.<\/p>\n

Lovely place in a lovely little village. The pictures don\u2019t do the location and space justice. Great for a young family wanting to use the social and outdoor space.<\/p>\n
